Classic Cars. Hometown Pride.

The Car Show is a part of Heart of Scottsville’s First Friday Street Fair + Car Show, held in historic Downtown Scottsville from May through October, 6:00-8:00 p.m. The evening brings together classic cars, food trucks, vendors, live music, local shops, kids’ activities, and small-town hospitality on the Square.

Whether you are bring a show car, stopping by with friends, or introducing the next generation to a love of cars, we are glad to have you downtown.

What to Expect

Traffic to the Square closes at 4:00 p.m. on event days so vendors, food trucks, car show participants, and event staff can safely set up.

REGISTRATION

Car show participation is currently free unless otherwise announced.

Participants should arrive early enough to be parked safely before the event begins. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Basic Rules

Heart staff, event volunteers, and public safety partners may direct parking, traffic flow, and setup.
For pedestrian safety, vehicles should remain parked during the event unless movement is approved and directed by event staff.
This is a family-friendly downtown event. Unsafe driving may result in removal from the event.
Participants and guests are expected to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Please be considerate of nearby vendors, shops, residents, performers, and families.
Participants are responsible for trash, personal items, and any fluids or debris associated with their vehicle.
Do not block storefronts, sidewalks, ADA access, emergency lanes, driveways, hydrants, or vendor spaces unless specifically directed.
Vehicle owners are responsible for their own property, insurance, and conduct.
Weather, construction, public safety needs, or event growth may require changes.

Participation in the First Friday Car Show is voluntary. Heart of Scottsville Inc is not responsible for damage, theft, injury, or loss associated with participation in or attendance at the event. Participants are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance and safe control of their vehicle at all times.

July First Friday

July First Friday features our annual Stars, Stripes, and Spokes Parade. We will have all your favorites - food trucks, artisan vendors, live entertainment, and classic car show - plus Summer sounds by local DJ ASAP.

Bring your kids to join the bike parade. It’s FREE to enter. Just deck out your bikes, trikes, and wagons in festive, patriotic decor and meet at the courthouse at 6:00 to join the fun. The parade will circle downtown before lining up in center Square to announce the winners.

After First Friday, we invite you to head over to Dugas Park for Fireworks in the Park.

Aug 7

August First Friday

August First Friday features all your favorites - food trucks, artisan vendors and live entertainment - plus our Chalk the Block activity station. Guests are invited to decorate downtown with their best and most creative chalk art.

Sep 4

September First Friday

On the first Friday of each month, Historic Downtown Scottsville transforms into a special marketplace featuring local entertainment, craft vendors, and extended hours for our local shops, boutiques and restaurants.

It’s a true Kentucky hometown experience, and everyone is welcome.

6:00-8:00PM - Rain or Shine (unless otherwise listed)

The square is closed to traffic from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on First Friday. There is plenty of FREE parking throughout the downtown, including behind The Washington Center, the Health Department, and the Library.

Participation in the First Friday Car Show is free, and we are grateful for every car owner, volunteer, sponsor, and visitor who helps make these evenings special.

If you enjoy the car show and would like to support Heart of Scottsville’s nonprofit work, we invite you to consider making a donation. Your gift helps us continue investing in downtown events, small business support, historic preservation, beautification, and community partnerships that strengthen the heart of this community.

Donations are not required to participate, and every gift of any size is appreciated.
