A True Kentucky Hometown Experience - Named 2026 Best Large Event by Kentucky Main Street
What to Expect
First Friday is downtown Scottsville’s standing invitation to gather on the Square. On select Friday evenings, we close the streets and welcome neighbors, visitors, vendors, food trucks, musicians, downtown merchants, and classic car lovers for an easygoing night in the heart of town.
Come hungry, bring a friend, stroll the vendor booths, admire the cars, pop into local shops, and settle into the kind of small-town evening that still feels personal. Whether you are a longtime local or visiting Scottsville for the first time, First Friday is a chance to experience downtown at its best: lively, welcoming, and full of hometown charm.

Come Set Up on the Square
First Friday is one of downtown Scottsville’s favorite ways to gather: a warm evening on the Square with food trucks, artisan vendors, classic cars, music, local shops, and neighbors strolling from booth to booth. We welcome makers, merchants, food vendors, nonprofits, and community partners who help create a lively, family-friendly experience for our guests.
We curate each event with care so shoppers see a good mix of booths and vendors have the best chance at a successful evening. Not every date is the right fit for every vendor, but every application is reviewed thoughtfully.
