Heart of Scottsville is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit and nationally accredited Main Street America program dedicated to revitalizing historic downtown Scottsville through preservation-based economic development, small-business support, community events, placemaking, and public-private partnership.
Since 2002, Heart has worked with local leaders, merchants, volunteers, donors, and sponsors to preserve Scottsville’s small-town character while building a stronger future for the downtown district.

The Patriot Project Begins with Student Voices

From May through October, downtown Scottsville comes alive for First Friday — an easygoing evening of food trucks, artisan vendors, classic cars, live music, kids’ activities, and the familiar joy of running into friends and neighbors on the Square.
